At Mesnick Counseling & Consultation, the people and organizations I serve are at the center of everything I do. My work is grounded in authentic connection and guided by a clear purpose: to provide thoughtful, person-centered care and consultation that fosters trust, collaboration, and resilience. Whether working with individuals or partnering with community agencies and organizations, I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, shared understanding, and strengths-based approaches that support healing, growth, and sustainable change.
Grounded in connection and guided by purpose, the work begins by creating space for what is often hardest to face.
“If you can sit with your pain, listen to your pain, and respect your pain — in time, you will move through your pain.”
— Bryant McGill
When we learn to lean in and embrace the healing process—listening to pain, respecting it, and allowing ourselves to move through it both physiologically and emotionally—we strengthen our capacity for resilience.
Pain is not something to be rushed, avoided, or fixed; it is something to be understood, honored, and integrated.
Together, we will lean in with intention and care, grounded in a strong therapeutic relationship and guided by your goals and values. We will listen, respect, and move through the pain or other barriers you may be experiencing, clearing a thoughtful and supportive path toward healing, recovery, and resilience.
I focus on the specific clinical treatment of children, adolescents, adults, health and human service workers, and families by utilizing evidence-based treatment practices including Eye Movement Desensitizing Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapeutic Techniques, Internal Family Systems Theory, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Logotherapy Theory and Techniques, Psychodynamic Approaches, Solution and Compassion Focused Treatment.
Additionally, I utilize components of leisure and movement, expressive arts, meditation, and relaxation treatment practices to ensure your treatment is a holistic experience.
My treatment focus also includes special populations such as working with people who identify as LGBTQ, survivors and co-survivors of trauma, and children and adolescent with emotional and behavioral concerns.
